Sunday will be 100 days till we go

On Sunday, February 7 will be the 100th day away (making today 102 days away) and next Tuesday will make it 14 weeks till we go to London.

We have Moved

Just an update to say that we have moved over the last weekend, and now begin the wonderfully mundane task of unpacking and sorting everything we have.

before we move, we have to move

Everything is pretty much on hold at the moment - I was going to start doing important things like changing my passport from my maiden name to my married name, getting my eyes and teeth checked (gotta use that health insurance), etc - but before we can do that we have to move house this weekend.

I hate moving house, but its a good opportunity to decide what stuff we really want and/or need to put in storage while we are in another country for who knows how long. Plus, the plan is that my brother and his fiance will move in and take over the place and our stuff, which is handy for all involved.

We went into the travel agent to check prices and details and walked out 30 minutes later with our tickets purchased. So, in February, Graeme and I will be moving to England.

We decided ages ago that we should start a blog and/or webpage to document not only our travels, but the things we have to do before we go. So here's the blog - the website may or may not come later...
